He was an average boy.
He was tall, with a thin frame. Not muscular by any account, but lean, as though there were some unknown energy pulsing beneath the surface.
He wasn't a prodigy, but he had talent nonetheless.
He did pretty well in school. He wasn't the class genius, but he scored consistently high grades for all of his subjects, with the exception of Chinese, which wasn't his strong point. He knew how to study well and would seldom be caught in a last minute scramble to burn the midnight oil.
He could play the (piano/violin/cello/guitar/drums/turntables) fairly well, and would perform whenever he happened to get a chance, usually at things like a friend's party, but occasionally for school or church or something of the like.
He was pretty okay in sports too. He loved golf and would play often with his family, while also bringing his friends along to "teach" them i.e fool around. He also enjoyed badminton and ping pong, and would also play often with his friends in school.
He was also skillful in other aspects as well. He could (disassemble and reassemble computers/pick locks/paint/write poetry/take great pictures/any other kind of craft)
This boy had many friends to hang out with, from all kinds of cliques. He could be having an intense gaming session with one group, going out for a movie with another, and attending a birthday party of a third group. And he was almost always bound to be in the center of something.
He was a devout Catholic, and would often contribute alot of his time and effort in church, most notably for Sunday school and Lifeteen, thus making many new friends and networks from there as well.
He had some close friends whom he could share everything with. Dreams, ambitions, sorrow and hate. These were the ones who knew everything there was no know about him, and who would always be there for him.
He had a family with parents that were cool and fun to have around. Parents who would support his endeavors and give him constant encouragement. He had a brother whom he looked up too and would in turn be a mentor to him.
Most importantly, he woke up every day, knowing that there was going to be something special up ahead, and that he would be there to see it when it appeared.

That boy was all that I aspired to become. But those dreams, simply did not come to pass, and perhaps, were never meant to be.
